No, it's not a rose on steroids! It's called a Glamelia, and it's a beautiful handcrafted large (make that enormous), single rose, which became very popular in the 40's and 50's. The Glamelia has become popular again ever since Katherine Heigl chose it for her wedding bouquet.
This stunning handmade bouquet is made by patiently glueing, wiring and sewing individual petals onto a single rose so it eventually looks like one large bloom. If you ask me it's blooming marvelous !!
