Polka Dot Wedding Dress by Darb Bridal Couture

Last week Brisbane Arcade held its annual wedding open day... it gave me the perfect opportunity to get up-close and personal with designer Brad Webb's, of Darb Bridal Couture, latest design.

Her name is 'Sienna' and she is modern but classic at the same time. A beautiful ball gown design in polka dot silk chiffon with a stunning sparkling swarovski detail at the waist. If the Italian origin of her name is anything to go by, i could guarantee that a bride who walks down the aisle in this gown will definitely be living la dolce vita (the sweet life) !

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2012 Fall Collection

Last week at New York Fashion Week, the ever talented Mr Oscar de la Renta revealed his 2012 Fall collection. The collection followed the colour trends of the season, showcasing powder blues, baby pinks and plenty of girly touches. I would kill for one of the gorgeous pastel jeweled tiara's and i love the satin ribbons adorned with gob-smacking crystals that the models wore in their hair.

There's certainly plenty of wedding inspiration to be found in the Oscar de la Renta Fall collection. These gowns are just screaming to be worn by a Princess Bride. I'm in a complete tizz of tulle over a few of these pretties. Just delicous!!!

And then there is the hair and the shoes and oh! those darling tiara's!!!
