Oscar de la Renta Fall 2012 Fall Collection

Last week at New York Fashion Week, the ever talented Mr Oscar de la Renta revealed his 2012 Fall collection. The collection followed the colour trends of the season, showcasing powder blues, baby pinks and plenty of girly touches. I would kill for one of the gorgeous pastel jeweled tiara's and i love the satin ribbons adorned with gob-smacking crystals that the models wore in their hair.

There's certainly plenty of wedding inspiration to be found in the Oscar de la Renta Fall collection. These gowns are just screaming to be worn by a Princess Bride. I'm in a complete tizz of tulle over a few of these pretties. Just delicous!!!

And then there is the hair and the shoes and oh! those darling tiara's!!!

The Babushka Ballerina

The Babushka Ballerina, as the name suggests is pure girly glamour. The frou-frou, frilly and fabulous women's boutique in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley shopping precinct is fast becoming a favourite amongst the young and fashionable set.

The boutique not only stocks popular labels for your bridesmaids (Two Birds and Anna Campbell amongst them), but also has an exclusive and unique bridal collection. Designer and owner, Sierra Ramke, saw a niche in the bridal market for the young and fashion-savvy bride so went about creating the label and boutique. With her fashion education and visual merchandising experience she hit the mark! Sierra prides herself in personalizing your wedding look with finishing touches such as embellished belts or hand stitched bead work that results in a one-off dress just for you.

The Babushka Ballerina offers complimentary wedding styling to each of it's clients' wedding parties. Stylized bridal and bridesmaids looks are carefully pieced together in private fittings paving a special journey to your wedding day. Whilst this boutique is new on the scene it is definitely one to watch and i can't wait to see all the pretty that walks out its front doors.
