For The Love Of Alex Perry

My love of blogging was renewed today. It all happened when i clicked on designer Alex Perry's website and found that he had added some pretty new images to his bridal wear category.

Many of you may remember that a few months ago i wrote about the dull, ugly and not-so glamorous images that were used to showcase his bridal gowns. Well, now he has some gorgeous photos on the site that are more 'bridal looking' and make his gowns appealing... truly feel off my seat when i saw his gowns looking pretty again! Look out, i think some love for Mr Perry is creeping back to me.

I'm spilling the Milque

I'm spilling the milk...I have a new favourite photographer... and she's Australian !! I'm happy to tell you that when i grow up, i want to be just like photographer Natalie Lynn of Milque Photography. Her photography screams beauty, fashion, glamour and complete gorgeousness !!

With a huge list of magazine covers credited to her photography, Milque is definitely at the top of the list for fashionista brides. And if i ever fulfill my dream of becoming a wedding photographer, i want to be just like Natalie Lynn (ohhh and Elizabeth Messina and Tanja Lippert).

Sweet Succulent!

I don't know if it's the fact that we have been through a major drought in Australia and have been surrounding ourselves with more drought tolerant plants... or if it's simply that these petit art deco-ish plants are just soooo cute. I guess it doesn't matter, because the fact is, these succulents are so sweet!

Darb Bridal

For a designer, i don't think you could receive a bigger compliment than to be chosen to design the wedding gown for the daughter of the countries Prime Minister. The honor of this duty in Australia went to designer Brad Webb of Darb Bridal Couture in Brisbane, who designed the gown of Jessica Rudd, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's daughter (well former Prime Minister as of today).

Designer Brad Webb of Darb Bridal Couture has been around for a long time, but he seems to keep a low profile... perhaps because he's so busy personally creating each and every gown with so much pride that he doesn't have time to prance around the country trying to become a tv star like one Australian designer (ouch! sorry but Alex Perry is seriously getting under my skin lately).

It is Mr Webb's stunning 'Dior' inspired bridal gowns with their big bows, french lace and silk tulle that are wooing the fashionista brides, and making dreams come true. Brad Webb you seriously are a brides fairy Godmother (well father). I salute you !!!
