Grill'd Burger Airstream Wedding Feast

I've been loving vintage caravans for a long time now, and when Grill'd healthy burgers added a funky airstream van to their company i was just thrilled. Having seen couples arrange an ice-cream van to visit and serve treats to their wedding guests, i got to thinking, how cool would it be to have the Grill'd airstream arrive and serve delicious burgers and the best french fries ever, to your wedding guests. Not only does the caravan look uber-cool but the delights they dish out are super-delicious. This idea is bound to be a hit... especially late at night after dancing the night away.

And... as it happens, the lovely Ms Polka Dot over at Polka Dot Bride

has just showcased a wedding on their blog today that did exactly this.

The happy couple, Matt and Julie, held a beautiful garden wedding and

has the Grill'd Airstream on hand for a delicious dinner... how fabulous !!

The Kombi Craze

As many of you would know I love vintage caravans, and am always dreaming of buying one, renovating it and hiring it out for photo shoots, parties and all things fun. On a similar trail to these traveling beauties, I have discovered another wedding trend... kombi / VW camper vans.

The use of these quirky, retro vehicles as wedding transport is growing in popularity and from these pictures below you can see why. They are fun, extremely photogenic and perfect for vintage, retro, beach or country style weddings (i think that covers enough bases don't you?). Mark my word, these not so silent treasures will be making a lot of appearances in up-coming bridal magazines.

Caravan of Love

Okay, so this hasn't really got anything to do with weddings... but caravans are back in vogue (and those around me know how excited I am about them).

So, who says you have to go on a glamorous, 5-star resort honeymoon anyway? What could be more romantic then cuddling up with your sweetheart and creating memories to last you a lifetime in a fabulous vintage, retro caravan.

It's alway reassuring to know that my little obsessions are not as crazy as they may first seem.

Funky, vintage caravans are hitting the road and the headlines. Better still, there are companies hiring the sexy silver Airstreamers for holidays.
