Burlap Beauties

Remember those brown, dusty hessian sacks you used to have races in as children? Well take a look at them now! The material is called Burlap, and it's the latest trend in rustic vintage themes. Burlap can be used in every aspect of your decor, from the invitation, to the table runner and bomboniere. Team it with dusty pink, cream or garden green for a gorgeous colour palette. Who would have thought that an old sack could look so pretty?

A-doorable !!

The trend for using rustic doors as part of your wedding decor is still standing strong. There are so many ways you can use a simple set of doors to add a bit of character to your wedding styling. Think about using them to reveal the brides arrival, as a backdrop for photos or an altar, or to display escort cards and seating arrangements. The possibilities are endless... and as you can see... a-door-able !!

If you are looking to hire a set of statement vintage doors for your Brisbane (or South-East Queensland) wedding, contact any of these favorable vendors:

Rustic Wedding by Jose Villa

This post is especially for my girlfriend at work who recently got engaged and is planning her wedding in the next year. Her name is Kayleigh and she is picture perfect pretty! Every time i see a pink wedding i think of her. But when i saw this rustic wedding, by Jose Villa, which combined a delicate dusty pink and horses (Kayleigh has a horse called Princess Indie Gold), i thought of Kayleigh immediately. And although i know she wants a full-on princess wedding... i think this outdoor rustic wedding is to die for.
