Silk Scarf Invitation

There are so many things that epitomize French style... and one of them is that immortal silk square... the scarf. You only have to walk down the street in Paris to see how the art of styling, with a scarf, seems to be something that French woman are just born with. So elegant !Of course the best producers of French scarves is Hermes and their advertisements never disappoint.

But this little silk square is not only for tying around your neck ... sweet little scarf... enter the world of weddings !!

I'm a big believer in making a huge impact on your guests with an amazing wedding invitation. Imagine having your invitation printed on a stunning and fashionable silk scarf... Love !!  Having your invitation printed on hankerchiefs has been a big hit for vintage themed weddings for awhile now, but i'd love to see something done on a scarf. Imagine a gorgeous fashionable art sketch of the bride and groom (like this first image by the amazing Kerrie Hess) used as your invitation or save the date... or even as an invitation for your best girlfriend to be your bridesmaid. A beautiful momento to be treasured forever.

Invitation Station

I can only imagine the number of happy couples who became engaged over the Christmas and new year holidays... how fabulous !!! Congratulations to you all.

One of the big things you'll need to think about when planning your wedding is the invitation.
In a day and age where we rely so much on technology and the internet, little things like receiving something in the post (that isn't a bill) are very exciting and make a huge impact. Your invitation is going to set the tone for the wedding and give your guests their first glimpse at the style, theme and vibe of your big day... so you want it to be good !

If you are looking for an invitation that carries a real 'wow' factor, you simply have to contact Brisbane creative guru Invitation Station. Invitation Station provides a very personalized service where your designs are not 'stock standard' designs but instead created especially for you! Everything about them is unique, from beautiful fabric detailing, to textured elements and spectacular calligraphy print, their designs will blow your mind. And not only do they look amazing, they also sound perfect too (the wording on the invitations will make your heart-melt... completely captivating).

Invitation Station is a permanent fixture in my 'little white book', and i can guarantee you if i was getting married i'd be booking their creative talents... i swear you will hear your guests squeals of delight as soon as they receive your invitation in the mail. Take a look at some of these designs...

Here's a sneak peek at a set of wedding stationery that Invitation Station

Love Quotes

My diary is filled with heart-warming quotes. When i read something i like i jot it down in my diary so i won't forget it and love to re-reading them months later when i flick through my diary. What i also love is the idea of incorporating these quotes in your wedding day. Whether it be by using them on your invitation, in your wedding photos, as a highlight at your alter, or as part of a table display... the possibilities are endless, and the impact is completely heart-warming.

A London based homeware website, The Contemporary Home, has some amazing prints available that would be so perfect for a wedding. Here is a selection...
