Chocolate Party

I must tell you, I was overwhelmed with joy from all the beautiful comments, accolades and attention that I received about my Winter Wonderland Dessert bar, after it was posted on Amy Atlas Events . I thank you all for your words of encouragement.

I wish I could share more than just the images of yet another in-flight theme, as i'm sure you wish you could indulge in the delicious delights of this chocolate theme.

There is a bit of a Parisian feel to this one, with the chocolate Eiffel Tower and, for those of you who are familiar with the drool-worthy shoe designer, Christian Louboutin, you will recognize his iconic 'Aneome' feather bow shoe I re-created.

I think a chocolate hen's party would be a fabulous idea. Serve hot chocolate (or iced chocolate in summer), chocolate fondue, death by chocolate cupcakes... and reminise about your old school days by playing the chocolate game (you know the one where you roll the dice and if you get double you have to put fancy dress on and then eat as much chocolate as you want, with a knife and fork, until the next person rolls a double).

And of course you can spice things up by giving gifts of chocolate body paint, chocolate body lotion, lip gloss, hair products etc etc... Yummmmmm

Special mention to my colleague Isabelle who came up with the idea of having a chocolate theme onboard the airplane. Great idea !!

Christmas Display

Christmas has come and gone for yet another year, and although I had a lovely lunch in Paris with all my work colleagues, I still can't wait to be home with my family and friends and host a fake Christmas party. Until then, these photos will have to satisfy my Christmas spirit. I was able to pull together a small Christmas display for one flight I did this month. Now, don't go being too critical at the simplicity of it, you need to keep in mind that I was literally given one night to prepare this. In fact I was in-flight on my way to Paris when snow caused the airport to close, so we were diverted to the South of France. Thankfully that gave me the opportunity to call on Naomi Parsons of Scrumptious, for the most delicious cupcakes on the French Riviera. The rest... well, that was all pulled out of my magical carpet bag of goodies. Excess baggage counter spots me a mile away. Joyeux Noel !
