Save The Date

I think a 'save the date bride', is a very organized bride! Save the date cards are a prelude to invitation cards, and sent out just after you are engaged and as soon as you have decided on a date for your big day. And my gosh, these days they are a little creative piece of heaven.

I've tried desperately to upload my inspiration behind this post, but my little blonde head has taken over me and i've failed. So, let me tell you instead... if you are looking for a fabulous idea for your save the date cards check out this insane digital movie card of Vanessa and Fabien created by Studio Artifice . I love it !! I will definitely be contacting Studio Artifice when my time comes !!

But if you don't have the time to shoot a movie style save the date card, or can't afford it, here are some other wonderful ideas to consider. Think about things like cookies, cupcakes, tea towels, handkerchiefs, luggage tags, scratch-it cards, pens and pencils. Put your creative thinking caps on, this can be one fun project !

Christmas Display

Christmas has come and gone for yet another year, and although I had a lovely lunch in Paris with all my work colleagues, I still can't wait to be home with my family and friends and host a fake Christmas party. Until then, these photos will have to satisfy my Christmas spirit. I was able to pull together a small Christmas display for one flight I did this month. Now, don't go being too critical at the simplicity of it, you need to keep in mind that I was literally given one night to prepare this. In fact I was in-flight on my way to Paris when snow caused the airport to close, so we were diverted to the South of France. Thankfully that gave me the opportunity to call on Naomi Parsons of Scrumptious, for the most delicious cupcakes on the French Riviera. The rest... well, that was all pulled out of my magical carpet bag of goodies. Excess baggage counter spots me a mile away. Joyeux Noel !

(I like to think it's a petit Christian Louboutin)

Savoury canapes accompany a Christmas cookie bouquet
