Vivid Photography Wedding Day

Vera Wang Opens in Australia

Fans of the movie Bride Wars are going to love this piece of news ... all i can say is "You do not alter a Vera to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera." So i guess Australian brides had better hit the treadmill because the Queen of bridal fashion, Vera Wang, has opened her doors to her Australian fans.

On June 1, 2012, Vera Wang announced the opening of her first store in Australia. A stand-alone boutique at the InterContinental Sydney, at 119 Macquarie Street. It may seem unusual to open a bridal boutique within a hotel, but this is tradition for Ms Wang. Her first New York boutique was opened within the Carlyle Hotel, so i guess you could say it's a 'Vera thing.'

The boutique will house Vera's signature gowns, accessories, shoes and fragrances. The bridal service is by appointment only, so don't plan to just rock up in the hope that you can just try on a gown or two, you will be snubbed and turned-away (well if the staff are anything like the one's i experienced in New York, you will be looked upon as not worthy and marched out the door). So make sure you make an appointment to be given the full Vera Wang service.

Australian brides can also look forward to the twice yearly Trunk Shows which will be held in the boutique in May and November. Until then, you can familiarize yourself with your favourite Vera by visiting her website... Vera Wang . I can't wait to indulge in all the glamour of Vera Wang on Australian shores. Yay !!!

My Big Glamorous Greek Wedding

If there's one thing the Greeks know how to do, it's how to put on a good wedding. This wedding is definitely one i would have loved to have been a guest at. You can very confidently say that the talented Kwintowski Photography did their job to perfection (as always). Kwintowski photography captured every moment perfectly... I just want to dive into the photos and be a part of this wedding.

I love everything... from the brides stunning Darb Bridal Couture gown, to the bridesmaids glamorous hairstyles and bouquets and the groom and his suave groomsmen... this wedding has left me wanting more!

Piano... Piano !

If you or your partner are musically minded, why not plan your engagement photo shoot around your second love... music! (your first love being your fiance of course).

My inspiration board today is centred around the piano because i adore the rustic, charismatic vibe of these photos. It makes so much sense to have a photo hanging on your wall that connects with you. You should have images that sing... or play, to the beat of your heart. So if you and your partner have an affinity with the piano, consider a romantic shoot incorporating a vintage piano. Sounds like music to my ears.
