Darb Bridal Couture - Chanel Camelia Wedding Gown

I've just done my monthly walk into Darb Bridal Couture to see what beauty designer Brad Webb has on display in his boutique window. As always, i was overwhelmed by the exquisite design and detailing in his gown. This latest design is called 'Daniella' and she is one of fourteen new gowns that Brad will be showcasing at this years Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane. I love the gorgeous flower on the waist of Daniella, it reminds me of a Chanel camelia. Which has got me thinking... how stunning would a wedding be that is themed around Chanel camelia's... And the bride could wear this stunning Darb gown! Oh how elegant it would be. It's days like today when i find yet another stunning gown and think of a fabulous theme that i wish i was planning my own wedding. But for now i will just keep dreaming. Besides, i'd never be able to pick just one Darb Bridal gown!

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Marry

I'm sorry to tell my darling sister, that once again Nick Lachey is officially off the shelves. He married for the second time last Friday, this time to girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo on Sir Richard Branson's private Necker Island.

Vanessa, 30, wore a two piece Monique Lhuillier gown (similar to that of Carrie Underwood's and Guiliana Rancic's). She told People magazine, "I wanted to be in that long traditional gown with heels and i wanted my groom in a tux and shoes and not barefoot on the beach."

Nick, 37, said that the moment he saw his bride is something he will never forget, "It literally took my breath away," he said. "It's a moment you fantasize about, and i was certainly not disappointed."

The couple employed celebrity wedding planner Sharon Sacks to organize a four day celebration for their 35 guests.

The Art Of A Good Marriage

"The Art of a Good Marriage"
by Wilfred Arlan Peterson

A good marriage must be created.
In marriage the "little" things are the big things.
It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once a day.
It is never going to sleep angry.
It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
It is standing together and facing the world.
It is forming a circle that gathers in the whole family.
It is speaking words of appreciation and
demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.
It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.
It is not only marrying the right person...
It is being the right partner.

White Bridesmaids

I think many of us would agree that Pippa Middleton stole much of the limelight at William and Kate's royal wedding. Her dress was spectacular, and i'm sure it has left many brides-to-be considering dressing their bridesmaids in white. I've seen it done at a friends wedding and it truly can look amazingly chic and elegant.
