Fashion, Frills and Flowergirls

I have been swooning over this wedding all morning. I stumbled across it whilst looking for modern flowergirl dresses. Honestly, i think this is possibly the most beautiful collection of flowergirls I have ever seen. I guess it helps that the bride is the designer and owner of Tea Princess, a boutique for pretty feminine girls fashion. Ohhh how I love these darling little ones. In total there were six flowergirls, all dressed in different dresses. I simply adore the age appropriateness of each design, from the sweet tu-tu, to the long layers of frills and the fashionable bolero. Perfection !!!

Fortunately for those of us who are not talented designers, there is a wonderful array of fashionable, flowergirl-worthy dresses from the label Tea Princess.

Each season a combination of delicate lace, soft crochet and romantic rosettes are beautifully combined to create outfits that will have your flowergirls floating in a magical flowergirl fairy-land.

ONCE upon a time...

Once upon a time...

these are the words that start a fairytale, and many brides wish for
a "fairytale wedding" or at least a "fairytale ending".
I hope that one day soon we all begin to remember
that it says 'ONCE' (one only), in a lifetime,
and that the destructive and painful ending of love affairs
begins to slow and that marriages once again
become life-long love stories.
I know that the day I say "I do",
come hell or high water,
it is forever !!

A wedding is a day: a marriage is a lifetime.

My Love

My Love,
I'll never find the words my love
To tell you how I feel, my love
Mere words could not explain, precious love
You hold my life within your hands
Created everything I am
Taught me how to live again

James Packer & Erica Baxter Wedding

Since writing my article on Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch's wedding, I began to realize just how popular the former Supermodel is. So actually, the reason I write about the wedding of James and Erica Packer is ... just quietly, because it's a great excuse to add a few more photos of the ever-glamorous Sarah Murdoch.... sssshhhh... anyway ...

James Packer, 39, and Erica Baxter, 29, spared no expensive when they married in June 2007. After exchanging vows in an intimate civil service, five-days of extravagant celebrations followed, with an estimated cost of around $15 million.

Erica wore an elaborate white John Galliano for Christian Dior gown, rumoured to cost $100,000. Guests included Lachlan and Sarah Murdoch, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes among other Australian media executives.
