What a week for celebrity engagements!! On the other side of the world from Prince William and Kate Middleton... Hollywood is celebrating a few engagements of its own.
Like many, i find it interesting that just one week after Nick Lachey announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo (with a stunning 4.5 carat Asscher cut platinum diamond ring), Jessica Simpson announces her engagement to former-NFL player Eric Johnson. After just six months together, Eric proposed to Jessica with a Neil Lane ruby and diamond ring, definitely a different style to the stunning 3.5 carat diamond ring that Nick Lachey gave her when they got engaged. I hope they both enjoy wonderful 'happily ever afters.'
