'Marry Me!' by Lanvin Paris

The power of a fragrance on your wedding day is often forgotten. I still remember the perfume my sister wore on her wedding day some ten years ago. It's true... the scent you choose will forever evoke a memory in a way that no other scent will. Lanvin Paris has just released the perfect wedding perfume called 'Marry Me!'.

It's a perfume of an encounter. Passion of the first days, tenderness of a vow, promise of a love story. It's a fragrance for those of us who live for that feeling of being in love. Spontaneous and cheeky... oh my, this perfume has my name written all over it.

Marry Me is a fruity floral fragrance with notes including peach, magnolia, jasmine, rose, freesia, white cedar, bitter orange, amber and musk. I am yet to smell the perfume... but for now, i just love the warm and fuzzy feeling the name and the bottle give me... Marry Me!

I Scream For Ice-Cream !!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream !! Seeing ice-cream is one of my biggest weaknesses, it's no surprise that when i saw an old vintage Mr Whippy ice-cream van driving around the streets of Brisbane, i thought, not only would it make great vintage-style wedding photos, but also be a wonderful fun dessert option. Just make sure you have all the toppings and sweet personalized cone covers too.

Here are two companies in Australia that hire ice-cream vans for special events Whippy Kiosk and Carnival Land Amusements.

Vintage Scoops in London is drool-worthy, as is Sweet Lucies.

Khloe Kardashian Wedding

Although there was a lot of publicity around the wedding of reality tv star Khloe Kardashian (mainly because it was reported that the sale of her wedding photos fetched a whopping $300,000 by OK! magazine)...for some reason i never really did see the details of the wedding until i watched the episode this week.

Back in September, after only dating for a month, Khloe Kardashian married LA Lakers player Lamar Odom. The couple exchanged vows in a lavish ceremony, attended by 250 family and friends, at the home of music mogul Irving Azoff. Khloe chose a tiered strapless Vera Wang gown, and her bridesmaids (also dressed in Vera) wore varying shades of lavender.

Following the vows, a Hollywood night-club theme reception was held in a tent on the tennis court. Perfectly planned by co-ordinator Sharon Sacks, the room was decorated with white carpeting, silver mirrors and chandeliers. Honestly, considering they had only one month to plan the wedding you have to give major kudos !

The thing that made me want to write about this wedding was the exquisite dessert table. The two gorgeous display cabinets, either side of the table, stacked with jars and jars of various sweets, simply blew my mind. I die !! And i adore the custom maid Juicy Couture suits all the girls changed into at the end of the reception. Too much fun !!
