Brian McFadden weds Vogue Williams

Last month Hello magazine released photos of former Westlife singer (and Australia's Got Talent judge), Brian McFadden's wedding to Irish music DJ, Vogue Williams. Although the couple are both Irish and live in Australia, the couple chose to wed at an open-air, hilltop medieval castle in Tuscany, Italy.

The guest list was deliberately pared-down with only 80 guests in attendance, including good friend Dannii Minogue. However there were a few last minute 'no-shows' from Spice Girl Mel B and radio shock-jock Kyle Sandilands. For McFadden this was not to first walk down the aisle, he was previously married to UK's Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona and engaged for four years to Australian pop star Delta Goodrem.... but, last month it was the stunning Vogue Williams who saw him profess "This is me getting married for the rest of my life."

The Italian wedding featured a strong Australian fashion theme with Vogue's gown being designed by Australian duo, Jacob Luppino and Anthony Pittorino, of the label J'Aton Couture. Her six bridesmaids wore coral chiffon strapless gowns by another Australian designer, Rachel Gilbert. But back to THAT gown...

In true J'Aton form, Vogue's gown was fashionable and sexy. 200 hours of work by the designers resulted in an exquisite bias-cut gown of Italian silk and vintage lace. Falling in layers of fine silk organza, the hand-cut skirt cascaded into a dramatic train at the back. The lace bodice, with pearls and gold-plated studs provided a contrast to the lace veil with its vintage beads, crystals, diamonds and delicate flowers.

The couples wedding celebrations included plenty of singing and dancing and the cutting of a traditional Italian millefoglie wedding cake. The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks display that light up the Tuscan sky and formed a dramatic backdrop as the overjoyed newlyweds kissed.

P.S.  Please excuse the ridiculous structure of this post... everything seems to have gone 'pear-shaped' and the system won't let me make it look pretty and/or normal. Sorry in advance.
