Elie Saab 2012 Spring Summer Sweet Candy Perfection

If there is any designers collection that you should look to for wedding gown inspiration this season, it is Lebanese designer, Elie Saab's 2012 Spring Summer Collection. The sweet sherbet coloured collection featured shades of mint green, coral, cafe au lait and lemon all inspired by fairy tales and modern day princesses.

"I thought of the fairytales," Saab explained after the show, "which all girls dream of, in order to come up with this collection. Concerning colours, i thought of very soft colours but ones that still retained the dazzle i wanted to achieve in this collection." ... And dazzle it does !!! Dresses sparkled with sequins, embellishments and lace applique. The "Chrysalides and Blossoms" collection saw many gowns covered in silk petal embroidery, and the grand finale gown? ... a bride featuring a sweeping pink and white skirt, capped sleeves and a delicate bow waist. The collection is filled with the prettiest wedding gown inspiration.

The backstage shots are just pure eye candy !!
I adore the colours... now you know why i love rainbows
