An Australian Backyard DIY Wedding

The popularity of backyard weddings in Australia is on the rise, it's so nice to see so many of them popping up in magazines and on the web. What i love about this next wedding is the beautiful tree the ceremony is held under and the gorgeous vintage lamp shades hanging from it's branches. The setting certainly would make for the most beautiful day of your life.

In The Swing Of Things

Your photographer is most likely one of the biggest expenses of your wedding, so you want to ensure you get amazing results for what you are paying for. Don't be afraid to make a scrapbook of photo's that you would like to recreate and take it with you to show your photographer when you meet them. One of the trends i love right now are swings. Use a garden swing to display your bouquet, as a romantic love seat, or as a fun prop that will definitely push away any nerves you were feeling. Somehow i think the little ones in your bridal party will be happy to pose on a swing too. Weeeeeeeeeeee !!

My idea for a wedding swing actually came via Tatler magazine. In June, at the Burberry Serpentine Summer Party, they created a wonderful photo booth swing! Now there's a new idea !! It was a huge hit and saw London fashionistas frolicking around the flower decorated swing- set to have a fun and fabulous photo taken.
