Jeff Leatham Flowers Uncut

My latest TV love is Flowers Uncut... a reality show about Jeff Leatham, the amazing celebrity floral designer. His opulent, signature style became well-known from his arrangements at the George V Hotel in Paris... and then his arrangements for Eva Longoria's wedding (though the marriage didn't last, the memory of the flowers on the day did).

Here are a few tips and some advice for your wedding day from the very talented Jeff Leatham:

* Think about laying many bouquets on a table or on top of (instead of inside) vases, so guests can easily take the flowers home after the wedding.

* The entrances to the ceremony and reception are so important because they make the first impression. Don't neglect escort card tables or the restrooms either.

* Florists are always trying to get rid of old roses... you can use these for their petals. Or consider floating flower heads in bowls or decorating flowering plants instead of choosing full bouquets (of cut flowers) as centrepieces.

* Your wedding is all about creating memories... Do it with smell. Gardenias, stephanotis and lilies of the valley will remind guests of your wedding later on. Better still, use one of these flowers for your grooms boutonniere, the smell will forever remind him of your special day. Now... go ahead and bathe in the beauty of the designs below. And remember, if you want to create a 'Jeff Leatham' look on your wedding day, keep your arrangements clean, simple, chic and monochromatic... the result will be gob-smacking !!
